With over 5 billion devices shipping each year, Bluetooth technology is the most widely deployed wireless standard in the world. ABI Research predicts 7.5 billion Bluetooth devices will ship in 2028, representing an eight percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years. A number of recent technology enhancements and upcoming features will help Bluetooth maintain its dominant position in the wireless communications industry over the coming years.
