Upcoming Bluetooth Enhancements to Improve the Lives of People with Hearing Loss

Several years ago, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and hearing aid industry began a collaboration to enhance Bluetooth technology to better meet the needs of people with hearing loss. See how the results of that effort will soon improve the availability, performance, and interoperability of Bluetooth enabled hearing aids and enable deployment of a true next generation assistive listening system (ALS) capable of providing a significantly better user experience than existing inductive loop systems.
